There is no firm news for now from the developers about the next season. So it is all leaks and speculations for now. But as you know, a lot of speculations turn out to be true at times. Let us look at the things which we can expect to happen and obviously let us also have a look at the release date.
What to expect?
There are strong hints of the addition of a zombie mode in the next season. Currently, there are zombies in the Prison section of the Verdansk map but in Season 3 we may see these zombies on all the other sections of the map too. @WarzoneNews has made some leaks regarding a new map and a new operator on Twitter. The new may be a combination of Dome, Highrise, and Vertigo. These are famous maps of older Call of Duty Games. This map may be called Echelon. He has also found some voice lines for Alex Mason. Alex Mason is a famous character from Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops II. You can call him one of the fan favorites. So there is a possibility of Alex Mason being introduced in the next season. Nuking Verdansk is another major event that fans have been waiting for for a year now. Every two to three months there are some hints or leaks regarding the nuking of Verdansk but no major development towards it.
Since the zombies are slowly taking over the map a nuke is the final answer to stop the dead from taking over. As said above the zombies are expected to spread to other places in the next season. Not only next season but there are leaks from ZestyCODLeaks where they have uncovered some script files which indicates zombie outbreaks at TV Station, Dam, Bank, Superstore, and Stadium. So maybe the nuking can be delayed to season 4 or we may have it in season 3 itself. Nuking Verdnask means a new map. So would Activision do that, or will it make changes in Verdansk and keep it going ahead for one or two more seasons. This was pretty much everything that is going around in the news regarding the next season. Activision isn’t a fan of announcing season updates way before. The season 2 announcement was made just 9 days before its launch. So we may expect a similar pattern for this season too. Once the announcement is made, we will know all the changes and additions coming into the game.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Release date
The update is expected to launch around April end, Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 release date will be in the 4th week of April 2021. The update will release around 10 AM Pacific Standard Times. Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 is set to end on April 21, 2021. So the new season may start in the next week or in that week itself. Apart from the warzone updates, there are a few speculations and news going around related to the next Call of Duty game as well. Reports say that the next Call of Duty game can come around this year’s end or next year. The game is expected to be set in the World War 2 era. It is in development with Sledgehammer games being the main developers. So till the next major title in COD comes closer, we may see a lot of attractive additions in the warzone game to keep fans glued to this game. Have you played Warzone yet?
