The industrial pollution caused by their factories has started to cause climate changes within the town. And while on the outside they are the fifth-richest family in Norway, they happen to be the embodiment of the four Jötnar. So, thus we witness the battle between Thor and the Jötnars as one seeks to protect the world while the other wants to destroy it.
Ragnarok Season 2 Release Date
Ragnarok Season 2 is set to be released on 27th May 2021, on Netflix. All six episodes of Ragnarok Season 1 were released back on 31st January 2020. This Norse mythic show performed exceptionally well as it managed to maintain a perfect balance between the mythic and the contemporary storyline. This led the show to be ranked 5th on Netflix UK while being placed 6th on Netflix US. So, considering that season 1 was left at a cliffhanger, it was no huge surprise that Netflix gave the thumbs up for the second season. In March 2020, Ragnarok was announced to be renewed for a second season. This was done through several Netflix social media accounts. But later, COVID-19 shutdowns caused the filming for the second season to be delayed. Luckily, the production was finally able to begin back in September 2020. Thus setting the release date much farther than one would have anticipated. Nevertheless, in mid-April Netflix revealed that Ragnarok Season 2 would be one of the shows to be released in May.
