About Wonder Woman
In the first Wonder Woman movie, we saw Zack Snyder in the chair of a screenplay writer. It was Zack who bought Gal Gadot for the role of Wonder Woman, and we all still thank him for that. Directed by patty Jenkins, This movie is about the origin story of Diana, how she becomes the “Wonder Woman”.
She went to this unfamiliar outside world to stop the war, which she believes is influenced by the God Ares. This was a very tough mission for her, as she left behind the only life she ever knows. She had to deal between the mission to promote peace and her own warrior upbringing, as “Wonder Woman”. We will see Diana must fight the evil in the “war to end all wars” by the end of the movie.
Batman V Superman and Justice League
Even though these movies didn’t give that importance to Wonder Woman as in the first movie, these movies have also played a key role in building the Diana we see. Even though the Zack Snyder Justice League Diana will be the one we needed to watch to know the Diana we see now. But still, Diana reveals who she is to Bruce Wayne, and it was them who initially decides to set up a Superhero team.
What happened in Wonder Woman 1984?
Read our Wonder Woman 1984 review. Despite the current pandemic hit around the world, fans were all still hyped around the sequel to their favorite lady superhero. But, this time, we didn’t saw Snyder’s involvement in this movie. Even though we don’t know if that is the reason or not, the sequel didn’t gain much appreciation from both the critiques and fans, the movie still performed well. In 1984, after saving the world in the first Wonder Woman movie, Princess Diana of Themyscira decided to stay under the radar. She now works as an archaeologist at the Smithsonian Museum. She is still living alone with the memory of the brave U.S. pilot, Captain Steve Trevor. When the antagonist Maxwell Lord decides to use the power of the transparent, golden-yellow citrine gemstone in order to satisfy his urge for power. Along with many other challenges to face in this new timeline, with the unexpected recovering of Steve, which she never expected. Diana has to do what it takes to save the world from the events which will be occurred from Maxwell Lord. New ages and new challenges for Diana.
Will Zack comeback with Wonder Woman 3?
Even though the movie had some mixed reviews regarding Wonder Woman 1984, Warner Brothers still announced Wonder Woman 3 because of the huge collections the movie gained. They announced the third part of this movie just after a few days.
Even though Patty Jenkins is assigned the role of director for the next Wonder Woman movie, rumors suggest that Executives from DC also want Zack to be the director of the movie. While it anyways looks unbelievable, rumors are suggesting that there is a high chance for it to come true. But there are some obstacles for Snyder to sit in the chair of the director. As Patty Jenkins has already signed a contract, and if the studio wants to change the directors, they will have to pay a pretty huge amount as compensation, which is not good news for any producers. Along with that, Zack can actually move forward his vision for Wonder Woman, but still, he can’t make the DCEU universe he wanted to come true. It will also be interesting to see if they don’t recast the directors. What will be the story of the upcoming Wonder Woman?
