Quavo’s real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, and he was born on the 2nd of April 1991 in Athens, Georgia. His mother, Edna Marshal, worked as a hairdresser. His father passed away when he was only four years old. As a high school student, he attended Berkmar High School and was also the starting Quarterback of his football team in the 2009 season. He was in his senior year at that time. He also held the record by completing 28 passes in a game in the year 2009. Even after finishing the football season for his senior year, he dropped out of college several months prior to his graduation. He grew up together with the other two members of Migos in Gwinnett County. On the 18th of April 2015, the authorities stopped one of the Migos concerts that took place at Georgia Southern University. The three members were also arrested, and several others were also taken under custody. Quavo was charged with possession of an unspecified Schedule II narcotic, marijuana, a firearm in a school safety zone, and the possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Later he was released from jail on bond and also pleaded no contest to misdemeanor marijuana charges. After this, he received a 12-month sentence, but it was suspended on the basis of fines.
